Lucky Penny

I wanted to make a four leaf clover to hold my lucky penny. It came out smaller than I thought I would make but after last month's huge heart it's a nice change.

February's Challenge: Crochet

During February we'll be crocheting a lucky penny holder for March. Unfortunately most of the links that I bookmarked don't seem to work anymore.

My Heart's Done

Here's my embroidered heart. It looked better flat. I searched books and the internet for stitches I wanted to try. I probably spent more time looking at stitches than embroidering them! I didn't really plan where I was going to put the stitches and it shows. If I had to do it again I think that I would start in the middle and work my way out in lines of stitches in heart shapes.
